Appearance
Sunshine Blue is a low chill variety that will produce well in subtropical to temperate climates. It is a semi dwarf, early fruiting variety growing to 1m. It is the best variety for growing in pots and is more tolerant of alkaline soils than other varieties. It is self fertile but will produce larger crops if planted near Misty.
Preferred Climate
These blueberry plants thrive in temperate to subtropical climates.
Best Position and Soil Type
Plant in full sun to part shade with well-drained, acidic soil rich in organic matter. A blueberry tree or bush will produce the best fruit in slightly moist, well-mulched soil.
Care
